I recently was lucky enough to be a part of a really exciting campgain with Abbot Lyon. They launched a new, beautiful collection called La Ponche. My husband, Cole, and I had a beyond fantastic time taking this watch collection on a journey through the city. It's weird, I haven't worn a watch in years, I have become so accustomed to checking the time on my phone. But the second I put one on I was constantly using it! This watch is one of the few I would ever wear. It's elegantly simple, which makes it easy to go with everything, but it's also unique and elevates what you are wearing like a piece of jewelry. I love the black textured face and the interchangeable band. Each piece also has a cuff to go with it, which you know me, the more the better!
The watch seemed to take me on some sort of inspirational journey reminding me to live in the moment and take time for adventures. In one single day my husband and I went from the Lower East Side, up to the Flatiron Building, stopped through Midtown, took a ferry over to Governors Island, down to the Brooklyn Bridge, up on a rooftop and back home. Lately I have been reminded of how short life is. I am making an effort to cherish the things that remind me to live life to its fullest.
