The Perfect Day

Today was the most perfect day. You know when you wake up with zero plans and somehow the day just flows from one fun thing to the next without any effort? Cole and I woke up around 7 to make it to the Top of the Rock right when it opened at 8:00. There was already a little line of course, but so much fun to beat the crowds up there!  I have been there 3 times now, and I have to say every single time it takes my breath away. It's definitely "touristy", but the view is just incredible and always worth it!  From there we hit up a new brunch place I found in the East Village called Epistrophy! It's so cute and not too trendy yet so NOT CROWDED! I highly recommend checking it out.

We walked around Soho for a bit, Cole picked up a new shirt (which he rarely does) then we took a long walk home. That night we decided we wanted to start playing more music, possibly putting it out on YouTube for you guys. For those of you who don't know, Cole and I have both played in bands for years. We are always jamming in our apartment, so I think it's time we start sharing some music. We lit the candles and played for hours as well as recorded a little video. So stay tuned because I think we are going to share it soon.
